Project approach

Since the inception of the brand, Instagram was the only sales and communication platform. However, over time, the increasing number of orders and rising brand recognition drove the need for an online store. To fully depict the artist's potential, creating a website was the best idea to support the overall vision of her business.


Project goals:
  • Showcase the uniqueness of handmade notebooks

  • Enable online sales

  • Build a strong brand among customers


Key challenges:
  • Balancing aesthetics with functionality to create a beautiful and user-friendly site

  • Creating compelling content to attract customers by highlighting unique product features

  • Strong focus on organizing sales and logistics processes, particularly with the limited resources of a one-person business


Opportunity

To support the evolving narrative and expanded product offering, I identified new information architectures, defined engaging user experiences, updated the artistic direction and complemented the visual design systems. Handmade notebooks attract customers seeking aesthetic, durable, unique, and sometimes personalized products.


Outcome

The website is built around the brand's story and creation process, establishing a strong connection with customers. The e-commerce system facilitates easy shopping, payments, and order management. The store’s functionality encourages user-friendly navigation and a welcoming interface.
